Sure enough, it actually is Winter!

Jaren and I decided to go the Miami boat show in February. It fell over Valentines day, we like looking at the boats and there was a seminar on sailing in the Mediterranean we wanted to go to. So with Jaren's companion pass (Thank you Southwest Airlines) we decided to head out. The week before we left I was talking to Jaren's mom and telling her that I couldn't believe how warm it had been lately. She promptly reminded me that if Texas ever gets a freeze or snow fall that it's usually around Valentines Day. I knew she was right but this year as we spent our Valentines Day in Miami, Texas stayed nice and warm as well. It was the weekend right after Valentines Day that we got that freeze!
